Hugh Hefner promoted the "Playboy Philosophy" of self-centered hedonism for men and second-class citizenship for women (as men's playthings or "pets"). He is as much an arch-enemy of chastity and fidelity as Alfred Kinsey.
Hugh Hefner is an atheist.[1] In addition, despite his actions dehumanizing women and objectifying them, he is considered by the feminist movement and the National Organization for Women one of its staunchest defenders.
