Norway is a country in Scandinavia.
The capital is Oslo, and the principal language in Norwegian, though Sami languages are also spoken in the far north. Norway is one of the few Western European nations not in the European Union.
Norway was first settled by the Vikings. Modern Norwegians, such as the mild-mannered King Harald V, are a far cry from their hot-blooded ancestors! This is likely due to the spread of Christianity.
