Captain America is a famous superhero created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby in 1941. He is published by Marvel Comics.

He is the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a sickly young man who was enhanced to the peak of human potential by an experimental serum designed to help the war effort. Captain America wears a Stars and Stripes themed uniform and carries an indestructible shield with the Stars and Stripes design.

His main enemy is the Red Skull, a Nazi terrorist with a deadly poison that leaves its victims with a "red skull" as a head.
