William Shatner played Captain Kirk on the classic science-fiction television show Star Trek. He has also appeared in a number of movies and advertisements, including the only movie ever made in esperanto. Shatner now stars as a rather bungling and eccentric lawyer in the television show Boston Legal.
Shatner has frequented the Tonight Show where he would ridicule Sarah Palin's Twitter posts and book by reading them in a spoken word style. Palin has since been on the show, mocking Shatner's own works and experiences, especially the fact that he "confronted an elephant on a moonlit night in his underwear." [1]
