A rhetorical trick used by debaters or attorneys. The trick consists of overloading the opponent with a mass of information of dubious (or nonexistent) factuality, all of which the opponent must then refute. The goal is to bog the opponent down, especially in a scenario with limited time, to obtain victory by sheer confusion.
