Knol: a unit of knowledge, is the latest beta offering from Google.[1] It is a Wiki platform with new features, new posting rules and community tools. One major difference will be the inclusion of pay-per-click ad services. Effects on Conservapedia
Judging how Google continues to usurp conservative/opposing viewpoints, it will result in no new negative consequences. On a positive note, Google's billion dollar R&D may spur great new tools, adopted by all Wiki's for the better.
