Citibank continued using Windows 3.1 until they were completely confident about the security features of [[Windows 95]]. I made a lot of money from them one summer, writing security workarounds for a database. My experience at ABC was the same. In fact, they wound up never accepting [[Windows ME]] at all. Here's a quote from the Microsoft rep whose office was down the hall from mine: "I hate the fact that you guys never accept an operating system from us until the third [[service pack]]". | ||

- He, he. I worked at two Fortune 100 companies which avoided initial releases of Windows. Citibank continued using Windows 3.1 until they were completely confident about the security features of Windows 95.
