She was the daughter of a former President who was killed. She lost the election of 1990 but won the election of 1993. She was born in Pushtal Province. She was killed on 27 December 2007 after a suicide bomber attack in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. It is unclear whether her fatal wound was delivered by the bomb's shrapnel or by one of the gunshots fired during the aftermath.[1]
