The Internet is a global network of interconnected smaller computer networks. Data is transmitted in small packets using the Internet Protocol (IP) where are then reassembled. The Internet has many positive uses, but is often used for the transmission and sharing of pornography, something which many countries have sought to formulate legislation to prevent. Recently many pro-Christian and pro-Conservative personal websites have appeared, showing the increasing spread of both these views.
