The World Trade Organization (WTO) is an international organization founded in 1995. While it claims to support "free trade," in reality, it requires highly-regulated and sovereignty-reducing trade agreements with the "free trade" label.[1] The United States is a member of the WTO, along with 163 other nations.
In 2007, the WTO ruled that Antigua and Barbuda may have violated United States copyright laws as a sanction against it for prohibiting internet gambling.[2]
