Jim Justice (born April 27, 1951) is the Governor of West Virginia. He was elected in 2016 over Republican candidate Bill Cole. He succeeded Earl Ray Tomblin. Jim Justice is a billionaire businessman who is the richest man in the state of West Virginia. Justice, originally a member of the Republican Party, became a Democrat ahead of the 2016 election, but he switched back to the Republicans in 2017.[1]
