Windows Essentials (formerly known as Windows Live Essentials and Windows Live Installer) is a set of free Microsoft programs. The set consists of Windows Live Mail, an email program, Windows Live Messengerl, an instant messaging client, discontinued since 2013, Photo Gallery, an image viewer, Movie Maker, a movie making app, and Windows Live Writer.[1][2]
