The Ford GT is a supercar [1][2][3][4][5][6][7] designed and built by the Ford Motor Company. Sold during the 2005-2006 model years, it was based on the world-record setting Ford GT40 race car of the 1960s. Only 4,083 were made. The GT had a suggested retail price of around $130k, but was usually sold for a much higher price due to high demand.
