The Islamist government impose Sharia-law. Everybody is under Islamic law. Every Muslim who leaves Islam is stoned. Christians were watched closely by the religious police. If they are engaged in evangelism, they will be arrested. Former Muslims, who converted to Christianity were called "mortad". Mortads who are converting again, were called "mortad harbi", who are "leading war against Islam". Its the obligation of all Muslims to kill the mortad harbi.[2]

In 2013 Saeed Abedini, a Christian pastor was arrested for eight years.[3] Almost 570,000 people have signed a petition in support of him.[4]
