Harvey Kurtzman (b.October 3, 1924-d.February 21, 1993) was a comic artist. 1949 he started to work for EC Comics and published the first MAD issue in 1925. He lead the mad-series for 23 outgoings. From 1962 to 1988 he designed the Little Annie Fanny-Strips in the Playboy-magazine.
