- The media and Democrats portray everybody who isn't far-left like they are as radical right-wingers. I remember the 2014 election in IL's 10th district, and Democrats were airing campaign commercials blatantly calling Bob Dold -- probably the most liberal Republican in the House at the time, being pro-abortion, anti-gun, etc., etc. -- the Tea Party's best friend.
