Irony
I wonder if you get the irony in that "someone's wrong on the Internet" pic you posted on your user page.

−

−
I'm also curious as to why you blocked one of my accounts after I altered the article on Jesus Christ to reflect facts, despite the rules of this site saying that you do not ban for ideological reasons.

Dean, I saw you protected :Image:20080919-2 p091908jb-0025-1-515h.jpg (amongst others). Couldn't we have a a policy of having descriptive file names for images?  That image name is not only too long but tells us nothing about the image. If I had been fortunate enough to have merited sysop rights then sorting out the image library would have been my first pet project. I can only hope that some keen adminstrator will try and clean it up. BrianCo 10:54, 1 January 2009 (EST)

:You're welcome. Something still doesn't seem right though. I'm wondering if we even need the Algebra terms page since the Algebra index is on each of the terms pages. --DeanStalk 07:24, 5 February 2009 (EST)

−
::Probably not. There's also a geometry terms page, which can equally be deleted since there's already a <s>:Category:Geometry Terms</s> :Category:Geometry terms which uses Geometry index (and doesn't follow the MoS for categories). Continuing this line of reasoning, are these sorts of indices much more useful than categories? They seem somewhat redundant. -Foxtrot 07:31, 5 February 2009 (EST)

−
:::I think the indices are better than a category of terms for each subject. If you look at Category:Navigation box, you will see there are many different indices, Template:Algebra Index, Template:American Index, Template:Ancient Index, etc. Some of them don't have a subject terms page; they just have individual terms pages (i.e. Ancient Terms, Chemistry Terms, etc.) We should have some further discussions on this subject. --DeanStalk 07:52, 5 February 2009 (EST)

−
::::I think my wording wasn't clear in it's implication, sorry. I definitely do like indices better than something like :Category:Algebra Terms, but my question was whether we even needed the index if we have the :Category:Algebra, which lists most/all of the terms anyway and has many more to boot. I would gladly keep discussing this with you, either here or by email. Just let me know. -Foxtrot 10:55, 8 February 2009 (EST)

Hi DeanS. I see that you uploaded the image http://conservapedia.com/Image:Al_and_GW.png. I would have serious reservations about a fair use justification for this image. ==Governors==

Hi--I was working on the Governors and Lt. Governors of the United States of America, and I noticed that someone recently created a similar page with pictures.  I'm thinking the two could be combined (pictures on the second page moved to the first), but I don't know how to do that (I'm a wiki beginner).  If you can show me how to do the first one as an example/guide, I can do the rest, I think.--KellyB 13:26, 18 March 2009 (EDT)

:Thanks for updating the table. To add the governer's pics, try this. --DeanStalk 13:43, 18 March 2009 (EDT)

::Appreciate the help, thanks.  I added a bunch, and I'm going to add more later (the site is giving me a lot of errors at the moment), but in the meantime:  Is there a way to get the pictures to line up so they look better (right justify, or something)?--KellyB 14:56, 18 March 2009 (EDT)

−
:::Thanks for adding the images. That's interesting you added the desire for the pics to line up, because I was making that change before I saw your suggestion. I added an "Images" column to the table to make them line up. --DeanStalk 15:03, 18 March 2009 (EDT)

−
::::Thank you--looks much better.  I'll start looking for images to complete the chart, and create articles where there are none.--KellyB 15:13, 18 March 2009 (EDT)

:::::Great. You can add the image upload requests here. --DeanStalk 15:19, 18 March 2009 (EDT)

:Great. This was the idea I had in mind when I created the "wanted pages" sub-project of the the news project. If you create any of those pages that link to the Main page news, I will link them to our news section. --DeanStalk 20:10, 19 March 2009 (EDT)

−
::After creating the article, I actually checked if it might've been there in the Wanted Pages list for the news, but it wasn't :-\. I'll take a look at the list again soon to see if I can write up some of the other wanted pages, but this one was more timely than the others. -Foxtrot 20:14, 19 March 2009 (EDT)

−
:::It should have been on the list. In the future, if you see a page that should be created for the news section, add it to the list. --DeanStalk 20:20, 19 March 2009 (EDT)
