The concept known as the "Bush Doctrine" did not become popular just a few days ago with Charles Gibson's interview of Palin. It was first coined in 2002 in a NY Times article found here http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9A0DE3DE123CF930A25757C0A9649C8B63. Granted the Bush Doctrine is not as well defined as say the Truman Doctrine, but the term has certainly been in use for years. I would edit the page directly, but I would most likely fall victim to a banning.--[[User:AndrasK|AndrasK]] 23:42, 15 September 2008 (EDT)

::Will do (cannot do it right now due to time pressures, but I will later tonight). Thanks for the assurance against a block, unfortunately, I see more and more ideological blocking everyday. Completely Untrue

The concept known as the "Bush Doctrine" did not become popular just a few days ago with Charles Gibson's interview of Palin. Granted the Bush Doctrine is not as well defined as say the Truman Doctrine, but the term has certainly been in use for years.
