Scott Lively is family based activist an author and president of Defend the Family International.
Defend the Family International
The Defend the Family International is a ministry with the stated objective to 'promote and defend the Biblical view of marriage and family' but an almost exclusive focus on homosexuality. Lively is also director of ATM's Pro-Family Law Center.[1] and was the former California director of the American Family Association.
Writings
As an author, Lively, has written The Poisoned Stream: "Gay" Influence in Human History, and he co-authored The Pink Swastika: Homosexuals and the Nazi Party, with Kevin E. Abrams which "documents the homosexual roots of Nazism and the central role of homosexuals in the Holocaust."

In the fall of 2016, Lively was sued by Sexual Minorities Uganda. They claimed that he was responsible for an international “crime against humanity” when he shared his biblical views on homosexuality during three visits to Uganda in 2002 and 2009.
