"Yixian" is not his most common Putonghua name.  That would be "Sun Zhongshan", 孙中山.

"Sun Yixian" isn't Sun Yat-sen in Putonghua. It's Sun Zhongshan - 孙中山(in simplified characters, the only kind I have on my computer), and I don't think he ever really had any other names.  Certainly Zhongshan/Yatsen is by far the most common. If "Yixian" was an attempt at working out the Putonghua version of the Cantonese Yatsen, it was a bit misguided - it's quite easy to find out his Putonghua name. "Yixian" is not his most common Putonghua name. That would be "Sun Zhongshan", 孙中山.

Title of Article

In line with conservative sources and encyclopedias, this article should be renamed to "Sun Yat-sen". The current title is totally inappropriate and is not even used at Wikipedia.
