Las Vegas is a city in Nevada, famous for its casinos.
In pre-Christian times, Las Vegas was occupied by the Paiut Indians. It was founded by Mormons in the early 20th century, and remained a small settlement until Bugsy Siegel built the first casinos there. Now it is one of the fastest-growing cities in the USA.
