This is a Disney film about ancient China - it makes no more sense to call this "occultic" than it does to decry The Beauty and the Beast for having a talking clock or candelabra. There has been a dispute over whether the criticisms are warranted. Though the user who brought the dispute is banned, his comments (which I cannot appraise, since I haven't see Mulan) may be valid, so can somebody familiar with this film see the articles history and look at WilsonB's edits, and determine if they merit inclusion? - The central message in Mulan is filial piety; however, that concept may not be familiar to you in America. So most people assume it is feminism. As for WilsonB's additions, you were right to remove them. The story is over a thousand years old (but not from BC as he said) so it can not be an allegory to anything modern. Occult
While most of WilsonB's edits have been reverted, I have taken a look at the article based on one of his criticisms and he seems to have been warranted in his objection to this (though not his rudeness).
