Political IQ is one's understanding of and ability to grasp how political factors influence the media, government, science, education, and other fields.
The term political IQ is sometimes misused by the media to mean knowledge about current events, which is neither an IQ nor always reflective of political factors.

1. What is the political motivation for opposing a requirement that voters show photo ID?
(a) the requirement adds expense
(b) the requirement increases lines at voting booths
(c) the requirement reduces voter fraud that tends to help Democratic candidates
(d) the requirement reduces voting by older Republicans
