Chemistry is the study of the interactions of chemical elements and compounds. Along with physics, chemistry is one of the physical sciences. Chemistry be divided into several sub-branches, including:
- Organic Chemistry- The study of chemical compounds consisting primarily of carbon and hydrogen
- Inorganic Chemistry- The study of inorganic compounds
- Physical Chemistry- The application of Physics to chemical compounds and systems
- Analytic chemistry- The study of chemical composition
- Biochemistry- The study of the chemical processes in cells
- Supramolecular Chemistry- The study of non covalent bonding interactions between molecules
