Eugenio Landesio (Altessano, 1810 - Paris, 1879) was an Italian painter active in Mexico from 1855 to 1877. This notable landscape artist was invited to head the landscape painting professorship of the Academy of San Carlos. José María Velasco was one of his pupils.
