:I understand 'tidying up' to include taking a rather bloated and stylistically problematic passage and turning it into a neater and more disciplined version, while essentially retaining the content. As far as bias goes, my impression was that there was merely something of a conservative bias to my edit, which is surely not a problem here... Anyway, I'm going to try to "tidy up" the intro again while preserving its content more closely - I don't think that it's necessary to start a discussion on that, and I would hope that you won't find it necessary to revert the whole thing.

Hello, All....

My name is Terry, I live in Reno, Nevada, found this place by chance, and decided to help out. I have spend my entire teen years and most of my adult ones involved with Public Policy, in California and Washington, D.C. If you have questions, or need help, ask away! --TK 20:02, 16 March 2007 (EDT)

Lady Thatcher

When on "tidies up" a page, one thinks of spelling and grammatical corrections. Not removing data and changing the meaning of paragraphs, such as corrupt unions to "unions". Please do try and discuss these matters, okay? --TK 18:03, 17 March 2007 (EDT)

I understand 'tidying up' to include taking a rather bloated and stylistically problematic passage and turning it into a neater and more disciplined version, while essentially retaining the content.
A small point of fact - regarding the "corrupt unions". I'm guessing that you're thinking of the corrupt American unions with Mafia links etc. - in Britain, the conservative critique of the unions has always been that they were irresponsible, economically damaging and over-powerful. In other words, the "union barons" were socialist idiots - but they weren't corrupt. --Dumezil22 10:, 18 March 2007 (GMT)
