The Five Good Emperors were five consecutive emperors of the [[Roman Empire]] who ruled from 96 to 180 during the Pax Romana. These emperors were elected for talent rather than family connections. They were [[Nerva]], [[Trajan]], [[Hadrian]], [[Antonius Pius]], and [[Marcus Aurelius]].
