Mary Gay Scanlon is the Democratic party Representative of Pennsylvania's 5th district. Scanlon is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. In 2021, during the Democrat crime wave,[1] Scanlon was robbed and carjacked at gunpoint in South Philadelphia's FDR Park by a constituent.[2]
