If you are opening a tag without the corresponding closing tag (for instance:
+
</nowiki><math>\infty</math></nowiki>
−
[[User:Example|<span style="color:white">Ex<span style="color:green">ample</span></span>]]

−
),

you should close the tag (for instance:

[[User:Example|<span style="color:white">Example</span>]]

).

It's also a good idea to put the tags outside the link if possible (for instance:

).

For anyone that happens to look at this, just so you know, I'm trying to figure out how all the colors and fonts etc work within the wiki environment. I'm going to try to put together a new signature, and am just compiling examples from various places. Most of the stuff I've read on this is rather vague, but I do have some programming experience so I'm sure I'll figure it out. If you know of anything that might help me, feel free to edit this page and drop me a note, you have my permission to invade my sandbox! :) --Colest 13:50, 11 June 2007 (EDT)
