P.E.T.A - "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals"
A self professed group of "media tarts"[Citation Needed] who claim to promote Animal Rights, Vegetarianism & other causes through the use of controversial propaganda[1][2]& bad science[Citation Needed], and regarded by an increasing number of people of causing animals more harm than good.[Citation Needed]
Incidentally, these people are the ones who are against everything that PETA works for, and it comes as little surprise that such people would work to discredit PETA through whatever means possible, including propaganda from Fox News.
PETA works to end the use of animals as food, clothing, labratory subjects, and entertainment. They have taken an active stance in ending the suffering of animals on factory farms, fur farms, circuses, and labratories.
