Sanofi-Aventis is a multinational pharmaceutical company, founded in 2004 with the merger of Sanofi-Synthélabo and Aventis. It is headquartered in Paris, France. Sanofi-Aventis has 7 areas of focus in health care: cardiovascular, thrombosis, oncology, diabetes, central nervous system, internal medicine and vaccines (with its subsidiary Sanofi-Pasteur). It has sales of 34 Billion Dollars, and much of the sales come from Europe.
