Dale B. Martin is a New Testament scholar from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Martin was educated at Princeton and Yale.

On October 18, 2012, he debated Mike Licona on the subject, Did Jesus physically rise from the dead?. According to that debate, Martin is a church-going Christian, however, he does not believe in the physical resurrection of Jesus.
