View source for Logic-based proofs of God

Logic-based proofs of God demonstrate God's existence by reference to logic. This approach recognizes strong the connection between logic and God, and how the Bible can be understood as a book of logic.

Objective truth proof
# Objective truth exists.
# The existence of objective truth depends on the existence of an objective observer.
# In the absence of an objective observer, the concept of objective truth would fail for lack of falsifiability.
# The only possible objective observer for all of objective truth is God.
# Therefore, God exists.

Comment: some are attracted to atheism because it implicitly denies the existence of objective truth, such that the truth can then supposedly be whatever anyone wants it to be.

Uniqueness of logic proof
The uniqueness of logic proof is as follows:

# Logic is unique, such that contrary systems of logic are impossible.
# The existence of God is logical.
# Therefore, God exists.

Uncertainty proof
The uncertainty proof is as follows:

# Uncertainty pervades the physical world, as in quantum mechanics, entropy, accidents, etc.
# Logic is free of uncertainty.
# Logic, therefore, does not come from the physical world.
# Logic must come from something perpetual that is free of uncertainty.
# This we call "God".

Probability-based proof
#The positive implies the negative, as in the existence of "+1" implying the existence of "-1".
#The existence of probability therefore implies the existence of the negative of probability, or certitude.
#Certitude can exist only if God exists.

Greatest logical minds proof
#The greatest modern thinkers, including Isaac Newton, Louis Pasteur, Bernhard Riemann, Alexander Hamilton, John von Neumann, and Kurt Godel, were devoted to the Bible.
#These thinkers would not be attracted to anything that had a logical flaw.
#The Bible must therefore be more logical than the alternative.
#What is more logical is more likely to be true.
#Thus God is more likely to exist than the alternative.

Analogy to Proof About the Square Root of 2
There are two possibilities for the square root of 2: it is either rational, or it is irrational. People can cling to either belief and stop there, if they so choose. But when one tries to build a logical answer around one answer, it works, while if they attempt to build a logical system around the other answer, it collapses.

The same must be true with respect to the position of whether God exists or not. Both positions cannot be true, and both cannot support logical systems that are contrary to each other.

A completely logical system is easily constructed, without flaws, around the existence of God. The Epistle to the Hebrews is an example.

Atheism, however, leads to logic anarchy.
