Talk:Canadian newspapers

The Toronto Star mistakenly claims that Ayn Rand was conservative and that Tom Flanagan is a social conservative.
Astute political readers will immediately recognize those errors:
- Ayn Rand was an atheist whose philosophy most closely resembled libertarianism.
- Tom Flanagan is affiliated with a libertarian group in Canada that supports legalizing marijuana, which suggests that he is not a social conservative. He has said little or nothing about abortion, same-sex marriage, or prayer in school in recent years.
The newspaper article is wrong in basing its criticism of Conservapedia on its premise that Ayn Rand was conservative and that Tom Flanagan is a social conservative. The article misleads readers into thinking that social conservatives are somehow critical of Conservapedia.
Feel free to email a letter to the editor of the Toronto Star.

guys i cant edit the talk page so i have to put a comment here. really there's a VERY strong liberal bias in almost ALL canadian newspapers especialy the french ones and I should know ebcause I'm canadian! the only conservative news paper is the National post and even then it sometimes is sort of leftyish but only sometimes. i dont want to mess up the article or get in a fight thats why Im writing this comment but the talk page is locked i think. - Interesting observation, but we need a reliable source stating this if we want to put that into the article. --Sid 3050 14:05, 30 March 2007 (EDT)
