==Confusing Sentence re. double job description==
 +
What is the intended meaning of the sentence:
 +
:"The writers of the constitution recognized that they were writing a job description which, in England, was and is filled by the office of the Prime Minister and position of the Monarch."
 +
Is it that, in England, the equivalent position takes both people mentioned?  Or is it that the job in the US is equal to those two roles combined into one?  Neither of these statements is correct.  I would reword it but want to discover what people mean?  [[User:FNNoonan|FNNoonan]] 18:40, 4 February 2009 (EST)
