The film denies the Christian position by including the characters of [[Thor]] and [[Loki]], who are actual Norse demigods. Although the character of [[Captain America]] is shown to refuse to recognize the characters as gods in the film; in a scene in which a character warns him of their demigod powers, he responds, "There's only one God, and I'm pretty sure he dosen't dress like that!".
