RedState was a conservative news website founded on July 11, 2004 by Josh Trevino, Ben Domenech, and Mike Krempasky, then known as RedState.org. Eric Erickson became associated with the website in the public's eye.
In 2014, RedState sold out to a publicly traded company, Salem Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: SALM), and has since apparently become a puppet for the Establishment.
RedState disinvited Donald Trump from an event on August 8, 2015, by siding with feminist ideology and pandering to the Fox News Channel after the Trump criticized one of its overhyped reporters, feminist Megyn Kelly. Trump's campaign responded to RedState as follows:

Trump's campaign then referred to Erickson as a "total loser" who "has a history of supporting establishment losers in failed campaigns."[1]
RedState has also banned stories on Obama birth certificate controversy and 9/11 Truther contributions, RedState repeated statements wrongfully condemning Todd Akin, effectively casting their lot as a RINO Backer.
