Ratchet & Clank

Ratchet & Clank is a 2002 action-platformer video game developed by Insomniac Games for the PlayStation 2. It has been rated T by the ESRB.

Story

It is about a young mechanic named Ratchet, a "lombax" (fictional bobcat-like alien species) who meets a robot named Clank, who is smaller than the other robots. Together, the duo set out to save the galaxy from an evil Blarg (fictional alien race) dictator, Ultimate Supreme Executive Chairman Drek, who wanted to destroy planet after planet to create a new planet for his people, who are unaware that their chairman polluted their home planet. Along the way, they meet a variety of colorful characters, such as the incompetent superhero Captain Qwark, pro hoverboarder Skid McMarx, robot mechanic Big Al, a plumber that later appears in the following games, and many others.
