Oral Roberts University is a co-educational liberal arts college in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was founded in 1963 by televangelist Oral Roberts and, consistent with its founder's beliefs, is charismatic in its theological doctrine.
Athletic teams at ORU are the Golden Eagles, competing in the NCAA Division I Summit League. In 2021 the Golden Eagles became only the second #15 seed to advance to the Sweet 16, defeating Ohio State and Florida in the process.
