Karol Nawrocki was elected the President of Poland on June 1, 2025, by the margin of 51-49% after his liberal opponent had prematurely declared victory based on early returns. Voter turnout was a record high of 71%.[1] The winning margin was about 370,000 votes out of nearly 21 million cast.

Pro-life and opposed to same-sex marriage as a devout Catholic, Nawrock is also considered to be a nationalist who will put Poland first in priorities. His election ensures that the pro-aborts will not be able to rescind Poland's protections for the unborn, which are the strongest in Europe. Nawrocki hopes to establish a good relationship with Hungary's conservative Viktor Orban, who applauded Nawrocki's victory.

Nawrock's election was to the dismay of the globalist elite, who expected their candidate Rafał Trzaskowski, the pro-LGBTQ mayor of Warsaw, to prevail.

Nawrocki opposes Ukraine's accession to NATO and the EU: "There is no way for Ukraine to join NATO today. It is at war. This would cause a war of all NATO countries, so there is no point in reconsidering this. Of course, I am against Ukraine's unconditional accession to the European Union. Many countries, including Poland, have been waiting for years to fulfill the specific requirements of the EU in order to become a part of it."[2]

Nawrocki is a conservative historian and former president of the Polish Institute of National Remembrance, Nawrocki is a vehement critic of the public display of Ukrainian Nazi symbols and teachings in the Ukrainian educational system about the father of the Ukrainian nation, Stepan Bandera: "In Ukraine, even in the public education system, the symbols of Bandera are not described in accordance with historical research. They were murderers, degenerates, responsible for the deaths of about 120 thousand of our fellow citizens, our ancestors." After the displayal of the Ukrainian nazi flag at a rock concert in Warsaw, 57 so-called Ukrainian "refugees" were deported.

Of course, these events are outrageous. Being still the president of the Institute of National Remembrance, I participated in the preparation of a draft amendment to the law regarding the expansion of the list of persecuted symbols, including the blood and soil UPA flag. Bandera symbols in Polish public spaces are unacceptable! We must react very decisively to such things by simply expelling such people from Poland.[3]

Nawrocki has vetoed a law that would have provided social benefits and free healthcare for unemployed Ukrainians. "I firmly believe that the 800+ assistance should be available only to those Ukrainians who make an effort to work in Poland. The same applies to healthcare." He also cut off their access to Elon Musk's Starlink internet.
