Ivan Janša (Slovene: [ˈíːʋan ˈjàːnʃa]; born 17 September 1958), better known as Janez Janša, is a Slovenian politician who has been the Prime Minister of Slovenia since 2026, having previously served in the position from 2004–2008, 2012–2013 and 2020–2022. Janša is the leader of the conservative Democratic Party of Slovenia (SDS).
He is a conservative, enthusiastically pro US and pro Israel.
