File protection from creation is useless

The only thing that happens when a file page is protected is that users without a certain amount of permissions cannot upload a file under that title. It has no restriction on the file itself being uploaded in terms of what contents it contains. For Administrators, this should be basic wiki knowledge 101. —LT Rev. 22:13 Sunday, 02:03, October 29, 2023 (EDT)

Oh, don't worry LT. He knows what he is doing. He is just enforcing an arbitrary new rule he invented to justify blocking me: apparently you cannot have a page with a user name in the title. Just wait until he hears about the user namespace! MayGodBless (talk) 02:06, October 29, 2023 (EDT)
Whoever created this file should not have put a user's name in it. I have no idea who created it. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 02:11, October 29, 2023 (EDT)
Yeah, and hopefully RobSmith's unilateral, highly questionable alterations to the site guidelines can be removed soon. —LT Rev. 22:13 Sunday, 02:14, October 29, 2023 (EDT)
