Zunyi Conference

A conference of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee held in early 1935 at the resort town of Zunyi, Guizhou province, in the course of the Long March. At Zunyi Mao Zedong was able to establish control as foremost leader of the CCP over the previous (Moscow-supported) party leadership.
