Yahoo! is an internet search engine corporation and an free, online email provider. Yahoo! trades on the Nasdaq exchange.[1] While Yahoo! profits have plummeted under the ascendancy of Google, its diversified holdings have maintained a steady company, and it is now subject to a possible merger with Microsoft.
"Yahoo" is also a term used to express happiness or joy at something unexpected or desired.
