Vlad II "Dracul" (c. 1390 - November 1447) was Voivode (Ruler) of Wallachia 2 times, from 1436 to 1442 and from 1443 until 1447, he is the father of Vlad the Impaler, one of the most infamous historical figures due to his impalement of many people, giving his son the title "The Impaler".
