The Venegas family filed a $20 million against SpaceX after a fatal car accident outside of SpaceX's launch site. [1][2][3] On June 7, 2021, Carlos Javier Venegas hit an 18-wheeler that was stalled outside the Spacex launch cite, which resulted in his death. [4]The lawsuit claims "SpaceX failed to equip and update the highway to account for the heavy-duty and constant use." [5] [6]
