Is there a reason that you use the word "I" in that article? The phrase "It is believed..." might sound more encyclopedaeic. JY23 18:08, 26 December 2008 (EST)

It would, but on some matters I don't want to claim that I speak for everyone. Really, the contents of that article might be better refactored into lots of talk pages, since it's for collecting ideas. As it is (or was with the first draft), it looked almost like Aschlafly was planning to do translation by search-and-replace ;) DeniseM 18:12, 26 December 2008 (EST)

Additional privileges

Thanks for your very insightful edits. I've just given you additional privileges of uploading (only public domain images, please) and blocking. Congratulations!--aschlafly 09:24, 29 December 2008 (EST)

Thank you! DeniseM 09:29, 29 December 2008 (EST)
Do I gather from this that you like the idea of starting with Esther, maybe chapter-by-chapter progress? DeniseM 09:37, 29 December 2008 (EST)
I wasn't referring to that specifically, but I'd love to see your insights about the Book of Esther, chapter by chapter! I'll contribute also.--aschlafly 09:42, 29 December 2008 (EST)
As I say, I haven't got the time (after the Christmas holidays are over and I get back to work) to do the thing myself, but I'll happily get a bit of a framework togther that you and the other CPians can fill in as you go, and I'll certainly try and add my comments. Wow, Denise, your posting of the Hebrew is amazing!--aschlafly 10:27, 29 December 2008 (EST)
You're welcome. I confess that I copied the text (with nikud) from an online source, but I tidied and wikified it. Right-to-left plus wikimarkup takes a bit of fiddling. DeniseM 10:28, 29 December 2008 (EST)
Oh, and do let me know how you get on with the grammar I recommended - or whichever other one you plumped for - it's nice to have feedback about these texts. DeniseM 19:40, 29 December 2008 (EST)

Edit to Book of Ruth

Hello Denise,

I was hoping to see something in the talk section about the edit that you made. Could you tell me the purpose? If it is in Hebrew, do you know why it doesn't seem to match the Masoretic text as shown here? [1]

Thanks Learn together 23:42, 1 January 2009 (EST)
