Teamword

Hi, Dan. Thanks for the quick response to my request at talk:team. --Ed Poor Talk 08:38, 22 February 2013 (EST)

Brownshirts and Storm Troopers

Hello DanAP:

I was wondering if we really need both articles as to the SA. The Brownshirts article is much more detailed and mention of the term, storm troopers can be pointed out therein. What do you think? Cheers, --JohnJustice 23:37, 26 February 2013 (EST)

PS: I just found where there is another short article Brown Shirts which we don't need. Cheers, --JohnJustice 23:42, 26 February 2013 (EST)
I think it would make most sense to have the article at Storm Troopers; that's the translation of the actual German name, while Brownshirts is merely a nickname, and so that entry should be a redirect. Perhaps we should move the text of the better article to the one with the better title? DanAP 03:08, 27 February 2013 (EST)
That sounds good. Both Brownshirts and Brown Shirts should be redirects to it after the text move. Cheers, --JohnJustice 07:54, 28 February 2013 (EST)
Made the changes, per above. See what you think. Cheers, --JohnJustice 20:04, 28 February 2013 (EST)
I wonder about these changes myself. The brownshirts term, although originating with the SA is now used as a generic slur (albeit occasionally justifiedly) against any police force or other organisation that enforces the law strictly. Perhaps we could look at retaining the Brownshirts article, but with a greater focus on the colloquial use of the term rather than the historic one? --DamianJohn 20:19, 28 February 2013 (EST)
I can see your point DamianJohn, sounds okay to me; I was looking at it from the one use of the term as to the German SA and the redundancy of the three articles on same. --JohnJustice 21:07, 28 February 2013 (EST)
It's just that when people use the word Brownshirt these days, it is meant as a pejorative term that is derived from the SA, but not necessarily related to it. My favourite usage of the term comes from Alex Jones [1]. Give me a few days to collect my thoughts and I will create a passable article on this other meaning. --DamianJohn 21:11, 28 February 2013 (EST)

Warning

This edit, seems somewhat suspicious. Keep in mind that opinion is relegated to the talk pages, and should not be brought up on the article itself. Furthermore, take more care when adding categories. I browsed your contributions, and there are several sketchy edits similar to the one I listed. brenden 00:12, 14 May 2013 (EDT)

After reviewing several of your edits, I must request from you an explanation of your plans of contributing at Conservapedia. So far, your edits, in particular the addition of [[Category:Liberal]] to unrelated articles is the most disquieting. Please explain yourself. Furthermore, you are not to edit any mainspace articles, until you produce such a plan for your edits at Conservapedia. brenden 00:19, 14 May 2013 (EDT)
I am not sure whether your attempt at bullying deserves the dignity of a response, but here it is: No.
If you have a problem with me, report it to a senior admin. In the meantime, feel free to continue your highly productive activities on Talk Main. DanAP 19:52, 17 May 2013 (EDT)

Brenden's being a bit more forceful than he needs to be, but you still have to follow his requests. --Ed Poor Talk 00:18, 18 May 2013 (EDT)

Watermelon

What else can you tell us about the watermelon besides "Watermelon is a large green fruit with red juicy flesh." Karajou 09:37, 30 September 2013 (EDT)

Sussex

Explain your edit to Sussex. Karajou 09:34, 20 October 2013 (EDT)

I saw your past edit to Sussex. It made me laugh.
Rishi Sunak is cracking the proverbial whip to increase numeracy in the UK.[2]
I hope to visit Ireland/UK and Europe. I want to visit Europe as a tourist and see some relatives. If it's possible to legally do so, I will see if I can write all or part of it off as a business expense. I will need to look at the tax law or talk to an accountant.
Anyways, it was nice to see that you are editing again. Conservative (talk) 09:43, August 17, 2023 (EDT)
Thanks for the welcome back! I appreciate your reaction to my edit, in contrast to that swine Karajou, before whom pearls should not be cast. Frankly, nothing of value should be cast before him or that other pig, Ed Poor, as you can see from reading above. Anyway, if you're interested in tax benefits of foreign travel, it's certainly beneficial to consult with an expert. I'd be glad to help you out in that regard, but I'm cognizant of conflict of interest provisions that might prohibit my providing professional advice here. DanAP (talk) 09:03, August 19, 2023 (EDT)
Whatsamatta? You don't like watermelon? I live next to Watermelon Mountain, and we don't elven grow watermelons in this part of the world. What I can't figure out is, why a bunch of Native Americans took a Spanish name for the name of their tribe. Must be Western colonialism. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 10:41, August 19, 2023 (EDT)

My apologies

It was my fault. I accidently blocked you for 30 days when I was trying to unblock you a second time. The original blocking editor violated our Conservapedia:Blocking policy and I am working to rectify the problem. Again, my sincerest apologies. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 04:16, September 15, 2023 (EDT)

No worries at all. I couldn't figure out what had happened. I'm looking through the block log, like, what did I do wrong? I don't deserve this treatment! Why is L.T. so obsessed with giving me a hard time?!? She probably shouldn't have the powers she does at this website. Rob, thanks for your attention to this matter and for helping to keep us safe from the sickos. Please talk to Andy on my behalf; I'm praying that you will.
