Hello, CPalmer, and welcome to Conservapedia!

We're glad you are here to edit. We ask that you read our Editor's Guide before you edit.

At the right are some useful links for you. You can include these links on your user page by putting "{{Useful links}}" on the page. Any questions--ask!

Thanks for reading, CPalmer!

And a personal welcome! You're doing great with your edits and I look forward to learning more from your efforts.--Aschlafly 08:58, 8 September 2008 (EDT)

Thanks very much!--CPalmer 16:33, 8 September 2008 (EDT)

Divine Comedy

If you can find pictures for it, it has a strong change of being featured. Geoff PlourdeComplain! 12:34, 9 September 2008 (EDT)

That would be great eventually, though there is a fair bit of material I'd want to add before that happened. There are some good pictures on Wikimedia Commons - are we allowed to use them?--CPalmer 09:07, 10 September 2008 (EDT)

At the moment, the Wikimedia servers are down. I will upload the pics as soon as I can. Karajou 10:15, 30 September 2008 (EDT)

No problem - I suppose the advantage of a wiki is that these slips (eventually) get picked up.--CPalmer 08:43, 9 October 2008 (EDT)

Could some of the smaller articles go into a Template:Homosexuality and health? --Ed Poor Talk 13:46, 3 November 2008 (EST)

No reason why not, but I might leave that up to someone else, at least for the moment, as I'm finding wading through all these homosexuality pages a little depressing. I don't know how Conservative has the stamina for it.--CPalmer 13:48, 3 November 2008 (EST)

I also find Communism and genocide depressing. But we need to write about the evils of the world, lest people increase them out of ignorance. --Ed Poor Talk 13:51, 3 November 2008 (EST)

Writer of the Year

Hi, newcomer. A belated welcome to a great writer!

I hope we can create a Conservapedia:Writer of the Year award, just so we can give it to you. I've started following your contribs, because everything you write is interesting and well-written. You should be promoted to sysop, too (so your contribs are automatically labeled as "patrolled"). --Ed Poor Talk 07:28, 12 November 2008 (EST)

Thanks very much! I very much appreciate your kind words, and I'm also gratified to see that you picked up on that point in Paradiso. I'm intending to create a page on Ripheus to discuss the ideas further.--CPalmer 08:48, 12 November 2008 (EST)

Meow yourself

I always thought "added cat" "fixed cat" ect., was related to my fluffy ones. but no one else seemed to get the jokes. glad you do. Meow!--JeanJacques 12:31, 17 November 2008 (EST)

Nice to know people spot these little jokes!--CPalmer 12:35, 17 November 2008 (EST)
sorry i put this on the wrong page. Hit the link, and didn't pay that much attention. bad me. as for jokes, this place is so serious, and they block so many people so quickly, i'm loath to even try jokes for fear of being blocked. but yeah, i saw the meow.--JeanJacques 12:40, 17 November 2008 (EST)
I can see it now - Blocked for five years. Reason: Making animal noises.--CPalmer 07:18, 18 November 2008 (EST)

Thanks for including yours truly in your 10 favorite Conservapedians. Finally the lowly file clerk gets some props! WesleySHello! 13:21, 29 November 2008 (EST)

I am not sure if people other than the committee can vote on featured articles, but if I could I would! Congratulations on a fantastic, thorough, and well laid out article! It definitely deserves to be featured. --KotomiTohayougozaimasu 07:56, 5 December 2008 (EST)

Thanks Kotomi! Though I've a long way to go before I can match your numerous quality articles.--CPalmer 08:03, 5 December 2008 (EST)
Lol - Either one is fine - my parent's fault for giving me so many names to choose from. and thank you for your kind words. --KotomiTohayougozaimasu 09:21, 5 December 2008 (EST)

Trig functions

Thanks for cleaning up here. Maybe you and User:BRichtigen can work together more. --Ed Poor Talk 09:08, 8 December 2008 (EST)

Always happy to help.--CPalmer 09:39, 8 December 2008 (EST)
And it seems Herr Richtigen and I are conspiring nicely to keep the image uploaders busy.--CPalmer 11:53, 8 December 2008 (EST)

Recent waves of categories

I like the direction this is going. Things are becoming more streamlined. I've been trying to stick with the 'people' categories (i.e. Category:Biographies and Category:Political People) to sort them out into more specific subcategories. If you have the time, there are a few articles in the Biographies cat that I can't get my head around putting into a subcategory (insomuch as it won't be the only one in said subcategory). Two heads are better than one! WesleySHello! 15:27, 12 December 2008 (EST)

Seems good - I'll see if I can look at it tomorrow. I agree that now that there are few uncategorized articles or categories, the next step is to whittle down the biggest categories into a manageable size.
Are you working on the basis that Biographies shouldn't have any pages in it, only subcategories?--CPalmer 16:30, 12 December 2008 (EST)

Nice beginning! --₮K/Talk! 15:16, 14 December 2008 (EST)

(I assume this section refers to Essay:Jesus'_emphasis_on_Heaven_and_Hell.) It is a superb essay, but I think you've included too many inconsequential references in the Heaven section, thereby inflating its volume, and then conclude that Heaven is more emphasized based on a count. The references to Hell are direct and compelling; most of the cited references to Heaven could refer to earthly reward or a Heaven of angels with unclear availability to man.--aschlafly 16:03, 14 December 2008 (EST)
