Thomas H. Kean
Thomas H. Kean is Chairman and Trustee of Carnegie Corporation.[1] Kean served as Republican governor of New Jersey from 1982 to 1990. After completing his second and final term as governor, Kean became president of Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. Kean served on the 9/11 Commission and currently chairs New Jersey Republican Governor Chris Christie’s Task Force on Higher Education.[2]
Although a Republican, Kean does not seem to mind actively supporting Carnegie Corporation's numerous donations to left-wing organizations, including millions of dollars to several George Soros-backed leftist organizations such as Media Matters for America, Center for American Progress, Project Vote, Pacifica, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington and Alliance for Justice.[3]
